Hi! It’s been 4 months since I started my internship as an Accounting Intern in Avalon, California and within that span of time I have already learned a lot not only in the accounting aspect but also in the personality development aspect. Every day I face different challenges, which helped me grow as a professional and independent individual. I always remind myself to be brave and be fearless in whatever hindrances may come. Which makes it more exciting because you’ll never know what’s in store for you. Overall, being a J1 intern is really fun and thrilling because you get to meet different people with different culture (traveling is the bonus part). I am looking forward for more exciting happenings in my remaining months on this island. Thus, I can’t wait to go home and share my J1 experience. Also, big props to POEC for being accommodating and for giving me this opportunity to experience this program. All throughout the process, everyone is really kind and very helpful.
